Lodging and transport
Preferred base: Inn on Woodlake or The American Club, because resort lodging keeps the two-course booking relationship and movement plan simple. A nearby independent base is viable only if a priced vehicle/driver plan preserves every course buffer and creates a material all-in saving. MKE lists rental cars, taxi, rideshare, and shuttles; vehicle capacity for four travel covers and luggage remains a human confirmation.

Contingencies
Weather: recheck forecast plus golf-shop walking and caddie guidance 72 and 24 hours before Straits, then protect the recovery day rather than force a replay. Closure: use the Irish only after a verified morning slot and acceptable terms; otherwise move to the separately verified Sand Valley destination fallback. The concept fails if either Kohler anchor cannot be secured with the stated buffers or if the group declines the premium.
